Our offices at L’Islet are only fifteen minutes from St Peter Port and close enough for us to visit the bulk of our clients and their buildings quickly whenever required, and react quickly to emergencies ‘24/7’, 365 days a year.

Mike is a former qualified electrician who entered the property field in 2001 with a very strong knowledge of building services, structural matters and contracts, allowing him to offer an innovative perspective to clients. This combined skills-set is rare amongst Channel Islands’ property managers.

Jon is a Chartered Building Surveyor and an RICS Registered Valuer. He is a fourth generation property professional and garnered his interest in property following his dad around a range of Guernsey homes when he was young. Jon started his career in Central London working for one of the largest core Building Surveying firms in the world. He moved back to Guernsey in 2010 and has since started a family. Jon developed a keen interest in the Guernsey property market as well as local building pathology and is often found carrying out surveys and property valuations or diagnosing and fixing property defects. His role at Mawson Collins will be to assist the Commercial team and oversee property valuations, while also reviewing any property defects and procurement for the property management team. Jon also heads up the Mawson Collins affiliated company, Maides and Partners, providing core building surveying services.

Howard has 25 years’ experience gained from covering both the UK and Channel Islands’ property markets. He specialises in commercial sales, leasing, valuation and rent review. Having been with the company since its inception, he is now setting his sights on retirement and remains with the company on a consultancy basis, providing valuable input where required.

Lisa studied at The Guernsey College of Further Education to achieve distinctions at RSA 3 level, en route to securing her Diploma in Secretarial Procedures. After a short time in finance, Lisa worked in insurance, recruitment and architectural practices before joining one of the largest agencies on the Island to work in property. Her considerable managerial PA skills naturally make her a critical part of our business.

Mark is a registered Incorporated Engineer and property professional who has over 30 years’ experience within two of the largest property portfolios on Guernsey; namely the Health and Education Committees of the States of Guernsey. Former roles include being based at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, as Technical Services Manager, responsible for medical engineering, building maintenance and property projects. More recently Mark was the Estates Manager, within the Education Department, with responsibility for overseeing the effective and efficient maintenance of an extensive estate. Mark therefore has extensive experience in the maintenance and technical aspects of property management, as well as a wide facilities-management knowledge base. Mark also has a strong health & safety and property/project compliance background, which has continued to develop during his career. More recently Mark has become a Legionella Risk Assessor. Mark will further strengthen the excellent existing Mawson Collins property management team to ensure clients are provided with a high-level of property and project management services, including enhancing aspects of property-related compliance in the form of health, safety and welfare tasks.

After studying Art and Photography at Bournemouth’s Arts Institute, Sally returned to the island and briefly worked in retail and hairdressing before accepting a job in another of Guernsey’s largest property agencies. Her cross-market experience in both Residential Lettings and Sales having worked in various sectors of the estate agency business for over 10 years is invaluable. She has a passion for property and enjoys the fast-paced nature of the job.

Following our appointment as Managing Agents for the latest phase of the Admiral Park Development, Nicki has the rare task of delivering the Travel Plan which is a package of measures, tasks and criteria specific to this development, designed to aid free flowing traffic and provide sustainable and environmentally friendly travel solutions. Having been self-employed for over 14 years in the passenger transport industry, Nicki is well equipped for being at the forefront of this new and exciting role. She has valuable experience in client relations as well as extensive knowledge in the field of localised transport to assist her in this innovative project. This unique role offers exciting challenges and versatility, which Nicki is keen to explore and accomplish.
