We see this as a significant growth area as Guernsey’s housing markets continue to rebound. In particular, we bring our expertise as Guernsey’s largest apartment block managers to the fore when handling apartment sales, which are often more technically complex than selling stand-alone homes.

Negotiation of lease rents and leasing contract terms for Landlords and Tenants. We not only negotiate the rent and lease length but work with Advocates to ensure what the parties intended to agree on day one, materialises in the completed Lease documents.

Often residential rent reviews are linked to inflation (RPI) but not always depending on the wording of the Lease. we check the correct mechanism to be adopted and oversee the process through the signing of Memoranda recording the change of rent.
Valuation to RICS ‘Red Book’ Standards
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), demands all qualified members adopt ‘Red Book’ standards in undertaking property valuations. These professional rules/codes help ensure a consistent approach to valuation across the property industry, which is crucial in giving buyers, sellers and lenders transactional confidence.
